The Chebucto Communities Development Association [formerly Captain William Spry Community Centre Board of Directors] is happy to serve communities in eastern Chebucto Peninsula, from Armdale to the Pennants.

 The Community Quilt is just one example of how groups and communities are connected throughout eastern Chebucto Peninsula, from Armdale to the Pennants.
Each block of the quilt was made by a community group, church or service agency. Every school in the neighbourhood is included, so that every child could look at the quilt and know that he or she belongs.The three panels of the quilt hang in the Chebucto Connections office in the Spryfield Mall. A binder describing each block of the quilt is housed in the office as well as in the Captain William Spry Public Library in the reference section. Every block has a story attached to it, as described in the quilt binder.We randomly show individual blocks of the three panels in the upper right corner in the QUILT EXHIBITION zone. |
